Self-love is a crucial component of our overall well-being and happiness. When we love ourselves, we are able to set healthy boundaries, communicate effectively, and make positive choices that align with our values and goals. But cultivating self-love can be a challenging task, especially in a world that often tells us to prioritize others above ourselves and to seek validation from external sources.

 

There are many myths and misconceptions about self-love that can hold us back from fully embracing and practicing it. 

 

Let’s start with debunking some common myths…

Myth #1: Self-love is selfish and egotistical.

This is not true. In fact, loving ourselves allows us to be more compassionate and understanding towards others. When we feel good about ourselves, we are able to show up in the world with more kindness, empathy, and generosity towards others.

Myth #2: Self-love is easy.

While it's true that self-love can bring many benefits and feelings of happiness, it takes effort and practice to cultivate. It's not something that just happens overnight, and it requires us to be mindful of our thoughts and actions towards ourselves.

Self-love is not about striving for perfection or trying to be someone you're not. It's about accepting and valuing yourself as you are, flaws and all. It's about recognizing that you are worthy and deserving of love and care, even when you make mistakes or fall short of your own expectations.

Myth #4: Self-love is only for those who are already confident and successful.

Self-love is not something that you achieve when you reach a certain level of confidence or success. It is a practice that can benefit anyone, regardless of their circumstances or achievements. In fact, developing self-love can help us build confidence and resilience, and it can improve our overall well-being and success in life.

As a self-love coach, I am here to help you learn to love and value yourself just as you are. Through personalized coaching and support, I will help you discover your unique strengths and passions, and guide you on a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. Together, we will explore practical tools and strategies for building self-confidence, setting healthy boundaries, and cultivating a deep sense of self-worth.

 

We will work together to complete an 8-week curriculum exploring a variety of key elements that relates to self-love and applies to your journey. To support our work together, you will receive a personalized plan to help guide you. This plan includes practices for self-inquiry, psycho-education, coping skills, homework, & more. This ensures that you're doing the work & are supported during the process. My goal is to help you become the best version of yourself. You are worth all the love in the world.

  • Option A: Combination of weekly live 45-minute virtual sessions AND content delivered via a HIPPA-compliant app consisting of psycho-education, videos, homework, and more.

  • Option B: Communication and content delivery 100% via HIPPA-compliant app.
